Resilience Keynote Session Guests

Dave Cooper

Dave Cooper is a Former Navy SEAL and founder of the Verge. During his service with the Naval Special Warfare Development Group, Cooper completed dozens of tours, and alongside his teammates, successfully executed some of the most significant Special Operations missions in the history of the U.S. Military. From September 2009 to September 2011, Cooper served as the Command Master Chief of this storied unit. His distinguished service earned him a number of awards including the Silver Star, for which he credits his teammates, “because it’s from our teammates–and for them–that we draw our measure of courage.”

Riley Cote

Riley Cote played 8 years of professional hockey. His hard style of play eventually took its toll and he decided to retire from playing at the ripe age of 28 and committed to a life dedicated to self-care, mindfulness and personal development. Riley was called to be of service and share the gift of mindfulness and the integration of sacred earth medicines with the world.

Ralph DeQuebec

“Ralph DeQuebec is an American ice sled hockey player who made his Winter Paralympics debut during the 2018 Winter Paralympics; winning gold in the mixed tournament.” DeQuebec returned to the Olympics Beijing in 2022 where he brought home his second gold medal. “DeQuebec served in the United States Marine Corps as an aviation ordnance technician and in explosive ordnance disposal technician. He served during the Iraq War and in Helmand Province, losing both of his legs above the knee and having a partial amputation of his little finger and right thumb from a bomb explosion during the War in Afghanistan”.
