The inaugural Hendrickson Foundation National Hockey Festival debuted on March 3, 2017. The now-annual tournament brings the post-season hockey tournament experience to the many Minnesota hockey players with various disabilities. Every event during the weekend is free to attendees, including the banquet, chuck-a-puck contest and celebrity game.
As Danny likes to say, "The only better tournament will be next year's HF tournament!"
Saturday is the perfect day to experience the best of the festival! Come around noon to see what it's all about: our Special, Sled and Warriors athletes. Don't miss the Celebrity Game featuring current and former NHL players and officials at 1:30pm on Rink 4! Stay for the reception in the Expo Center from 3-9 p.m. with a DJ, games, photo booth, and special appearance by the Minnesota Wild's Charlie Coyle, Chris Stewart, and Jason Zucker. The festival is family-friendly, open to the public, and FREE! Cash bars available.
